1.1
System Description
The instructions in this manual are for the "AMETEK Drexelbrook - Universal IV
CM with Density Compensation Module". They are supplementary to the Universal
IV CM Water Cut Meter instruction manual.
The system measures the percentage of water in oil and compensates for changes
in oil density using input from a customer supplied density measurement device.
Each AMETEK Drexelbrook Universal IV CM-DO system consists of a
1. Density Compensation Module (DCM)
2. UIV CM Water Cut Meter RF Admittance transmitter
3. Customer Supplied Coriolis meter or other device providing density, temperature
and flow rate outputs via ModBus
Capacitance is supplied to the DCM from a UIV CM via HART 5.0.

Unpacking
Carefully remove the contents of the carton and check each item against the packing
list before destroying any packing material. If there is any shortage or damage,
report it immediately to the factory.
