TO AVOID A COLLISION AND INJURY IF PLATFORM DOES NOT STOP
WHEN A CONTROL SWITCH OR LEVER IS RELEASED, REMOVE FOOT
FROM FOOTSWITCH OR USE EMERGENCY STOP SWITCH TO STOP
MACHINE.

Swinging the Boom

Depress footswitch to swing boom, with footswitch acti-
vated, position SWING control switch to RIGHT or LEFT
for direction desired.
WHEN SWINGING THE BOOM MAKE SURE THERE IS AMPLE ROOM
FOR THE BOOM TO CLEAR SURROUNDING WALLS, PARTITIONS AND
EQUIPMENT.

Raising and Lowering the Main Boom

NOTE: Lift up will not function when the boom is near full
elevation and the platform is out of level.
To raise or lower the Main Boom, with footswitch acti-
vated, position Main Boom Lift lever to UP or DOWN until
desired height is reached.

Telescoping the Main Boom

To extend or retract the main boom, with the footswitch
activated, position the Main Telescope Control Switch to
the in or out position and hold until the platform reaches
the desired position.
