SECTION 4 - MACHINE OPERATION
TRAVELING WITH BOOM BELOW HORIZONTAL IS PERMITTED ON GRADES AND SIDE
SLOPES SPECIFIED IN THE OPERATING SPECIFICATIONS SECTION OF THIS MANUAL.
TO AVOID SERIOUS INJURY, DO NOT OPERATE MACHINERY IF ANY CONTROL LEVER OR
TOGGLE SWITCH CONTROLLING PLATFORM MOVEMENT DOES NOT RETURN TO THE
'OFF' OR NEUTRAL POSITION WHEN RELEASED.
TO AVOID A COLLISION AND INJURY IF PLATFORM DOES NOT STOP WHEN A CONTROL
SWITCH OR LEVER IS RELEASED, REMOVE FOOT FROM FOOTSWITCH OR USE EMER-
GENCY STOP SWITCH TO STOP THE MACHINE.

Swinging the Boom

NOTE:
The axles must be fully extended to swing beyond the rear
wheels (40 degrees).
To swing boom, use Swing control to select Right or
Left direction.
WHEN SWINGING THE BOOM MAKE SURE THERE IS AMPLE ROOM FOR THE BOOM TO
CLEAR SURROUNDING WALLS, PARTITIONS AND EQUIPMENT.

Raising and Lowering the Boom

NOTE:
The lift function is not operable above 6 degrees above horizon-
tal if the axles are not fully extended.
To raise or lower the Boom, use Boom Lift control to
select Up or Down movement.
