Specifying STUN
settings
This screen is only available if you are using IPoE data mode
and "STUN Enabled" is set to "Yes" on the Data Settings
menu.
STUN (Simple Transversal of UDP [User Datagram Protocol]
Through NATs [Network Address Translators]) allows VoIP
calls across a NAT router. These settings should only be
changed if necessary.
The following procedure describes how to specify the STUN
settings.
To specify the STUN settings
1 Press the STUN soft key.
The STUN Settings menu appears.
2 Select Address Type, and then specify whether an IP
Address or DNS Name is used.
3 If you selected IP Address in
then enter the IP address of the STUN server.
If you selected DNS Name in
and then enter DNS name of the STUN server.
4 Select Server Port, and then enter the port number for
the STUN server.
5 Select Client Port and then enter the client port number.
