Keypad Functions

Below you will find the keypad functions listed in table form.

KEYPAD FUNCTIONS
Description
After pressing the key the last cypher of an entry is deleted.
C
Partly, this key is used to terminate an operation.
By pressing this key you can delete the entire entry.
AC
Via the keys 0...9 it is possible to enter a phone number. The

connection is established by pressing the button PRETALK,
HOLD or ON AIR of the respective channel.
QD 9
If you press the FUNCTION key (Fn) and a number key, you
can use the respective QuickDial key.
The keys '*' and '#' are mostly used for special functions in con-

nection with a private branch exchange.
VE RSION
DISPLAY
If you press the SHIFT key and #, the software version of the
Keypad is displayed.
This key allows you to redial the last called number.
CALL
REDIAL
The DROP ALL/LOCK ALL key drops all connections. To

make sure this key was not pressed accidentally, you have to

confirm that you really want to drop all lines.
If you press the SHIFT key and this key, you can lock all caller
lines. To unlock all caller lines, you must press SHIFT and
DROP ALL/LOCK ALL again.
The FUNCTION key allows you to use the QuickDial Keys
Fn
QD0 - QD9. They can be programmed via the Windows PC
Software (see CHAPTER 5.6.4.2.10, Page 73). If the Fn key is
pressed, the character 'F' is displayed in the upper right corner.
The OK/SHIFT key allows a shifting to the 2

OK/SHIFT key is pressed, the character '^' is displayed in the
upper right corner.

SHIFT + 1: Activation to send DTMF tones on line 1
SHIFT + 2: Activation to send DTMF tones on line 2
SHIFT + 3: Activation to send DTMF tones on line 3
SHIFT + 4: Activation to send DTMF tones on line 4
SHIFT + 5: Activation to send DTMF tones on line 5
SHIFT + 6: Activation to send DTMF tones on line 6
A dot is shown next to the line status if DTMF transmission is
enabled. To deactivate the transmission of DTMF tones, you
must press SHIFT + the respective number key again.
SHIFT + DROP ALL: LOCK ALL LINES
SHIFT + #: Show software version of the Keypad
This button drops the connection of the respective channel.
There is no request for confirmation.

If no connection exists, the line can be locked by pressing the
key. Now the status LO is displayed. The line is unlocked by
pressing the key a second time.
The caller on the respective channel is set in the PRETALK
PRE mode.
This means he will be available on the Pretalk interface that has
TALK
been defined for the Keypad in the PC Software (see CHAP-
TER 5.6.4.1.1, Page 44). It can be a handset/headset or an Au-
dio interface. In POTS mode, it can also be an analogue tele-
phone.
