• Soft face hammer
• Spanner wrench
• Spanning type puller
• Tap
• Torque wrench with sockets
• Lifting eyebolt (dependent on pump size)

Drain the pump

CAUTION:
• Risk of physical injury. Allow all system and pump components to cool before handling.
• If the pumped fluid is non-conductive, drain and flush the pump with a conductive fluid
under conditions that will not allow for a spark to be released to the atmosphere.

Remove the back pull-out assembly

WARNING:
Lifting and handling heavy equipment poses a crush hazard. Use caution during lifting and
handling and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE, such as steel-toed shoes,
gloves, etc.) at all times. Seek assistance if necessary.
1. Remove the casing stud nuts.
2. Tighten the jackscrews evenly, using an alternating pattern, in order to remove the back
pull-out assembly.
You can use penetrating oil if the adapter to the casing joint is corroded.
