Procedure
1. Mount the dial indicator on the bearing frame.
2. Rotate the shaft through a maximum arc from one side of the keyway to the
other. If the total indicator reading is greater than 0.050 mm | 0.002 in.,
determine the cause and correct it.
1. Mount the dial indicator.
2. Rotate the shaft so that the indicator rides along the shaft surface for 360°. If
the total indicator reading is greater than 0.050 mm | 0.002 in., then
determine the cause and correct it.
