For leased-line applications, configure the modems as
shown in Table C-2.

This configuration allows the modems to attempt a
V.32bis connection. If the user disconnects the call (by
entering the H or Z command, pressing the T
/D
switch, or
dropping DTR) or aborts the call before the connection is
complete, the modem does not attempt to reestablish the
connection.
You can enter leased-line operation by using the
following procedure. First, enter the configuration you
want from Table C-2 and save the setting to nonvolatile
memory by using the
&
W command. Then turn the
modem off and on to initiate automatic call establishment.
