2. Enter the configuration select mode by holding in
the
TID
switch while turning on the power. When
the MR, OH, CD, PEP, and EC LEOs flash, release
the TID switch.
3. View the configuration choices by pressing the
TID switch for less than two seconds. The LEOs
change to the next choice each time you press the
TID switch (refer to Table 3-2).
4. When the LEOs indicate the desired configuration,
make your selection by pressing the
TID
switch for
more than two seconds. When the modem accepts
your choice, the LEOs corresponding to the
selected configuration flash. When the LEOs flash,
release the TID switch.
5. The LEOs turn off and the modem saves the
configuration as Configuration A or B, as you
selected. When the modem is set to the new
configuration, the MR LED turns on.
Use Table 3-2 and Table 3-3 to help you select the
configuration that meets your system requirements.
For additional information on the configurations, refer to
the &F command description in your reference manual
and Appendix S, Prestored Configurations.
If
you are a personal computer user, your communication
software package may not provide the initialization
sequence required to operate the W orldBlazer modem in
your PC system environment. If the available options in
the software package do not meet your system's needs,
choose either of the prestored configurations with
hardware (&F9) or software (&F8) flow control.
