Description
MR
Modem Ready-Indicates that the modem is operational.
Flashes on and off during a test.
OH
Off Hook-Indicates that the modem is using the tele-
phone line.
CD
Carrier Detect-Indicates that the modem has
established a connection with another modem. Flashes
on and off during a retrain.
PEP
PEP Indicator-Indicates that the modem is in fast
transmission operation using TurboPEP or PEP commu-
nications protocol.
EC
Error Control-Indicates when an error controlled (Tur-
boPEP, PEP, V.42, or MNP) connection is established.
DTR
Data Terminal Ready-Indicates whether the DTE
connected to the serial port is ready to transmit or receive
data.
RTS
Request to Send-Indicates whether the DTE is able to
receive
data from the modem (DCE).
CTS
Clear to Send-Indicates whether the modem is ready to
accept data from the DTE
SO
Send Data-Indicates that the DTE is sending data to the
modem.
RD
Receive Data-Indicates that the DTE is receiving data
from the modem.
Note:
Each of the following LEDs is also used in the factory
prestored configuration matrix when the WorldBlazer is
powered up with the talk/data (TID) switch pressed: MR,
OR,
CD, PEP, and EC.
