Description
It is possible for the e-mail to be transmitted via the Ethernet network or dial up
connection. This setting presumes that a modem has been connected and configured and
the TransVu is connected to a WAN and has been allocated a valid IP address.
This will identify the SMTP Server that the TransVu is to communicate with.
Enter the IP address or DNS name of the SMTP Server, the server will then forward the e-
mail on to the recipient.
Enter the e-mail address and display name of the intended recipient.
If the recipient is to respond to the e-mail enter the e-mail address and display name or
where the response is to be sent.
Note: The TransVu does not accept e-mails so this must be a valid e-mail address.
These optional fields indicate the source of the e-mail notification. If the fields are left
blank the TransVu will automatically use the system name & DNS name to create a
sender name.
Select the conditions under which the TransVu will transmit an e-mail; when the TransVu
has been reset, when an alarm zone has been triggered, if any of the video inputs has
detected camera failure, if VMD has been identified on any of the enabled video inputs.
The TransVu logs events within a database, for the transmission of an e-mail to be logged
this option must be enabled.
