SMS Setup
The TransVu supports the feature to transmit an SMS text message to a SMS Server for forwarding to a
mobile phone.
This gives the option to automatically or manually action the TransVu to send a text message to inform an
Operator of an incident.
The typical process for SMS messaging is:
The TransVu transmits a message to the remote mobile phone, this can be on receipt of an alarm or
manually initiated.
The Operator then has the option to;
Send a message back to the Server

Description
To access an FTP Server it is necessary to go through an authentication process, obtain
the username and password from the Network Administrator and enter the username
required to gain access to the FTP Server.
This section identifies when the FTP is to be initiated, this option will force the TransVu to
automatically initiate the FTP download when the unit detects a change in state of the
Network port (network down to network up).
This option must be enable for the TransVu to initiate an FTP download at a scheduled
time, identify the time of day that the images are to be downloaded.
To initiate and FTP download at regular intervals enable this option and enter the time
interval in minutes.
Note: The time period is the time between the end of one FTP download to the start of
the next.
It is possible to manually initiate an FTP download, enable this option to allow an
Operator to start the download process.
Any images that have been protected from overwritten can have the protection
automatically cleared when they have been downloaded from the TransVu, this will ensure
the disk space is made available for images to be written to.
The TransVu supports the ability to add a unique watermark to image partitions that are
downloaded from the unit.The file will be stored as a text file along with the downloaded
video, the watermark is also logged in the log file of the unit.
This is a read only section and identifies the main directory on the FTP server where the
images will be stored. The FTP Root Drive / Directory previously configured will be
created under this main directory.
When Manual Only is selected an Operator can begin the FTP download process by
selecting the Start Download option.
