Push the latch on the module down to secure the module in place.
Attach the appropriate cables.
Check the LEDs to ensure proper installation. See
Type 2 extended range transponder module LED descriptions.
There are two types of SFP optics that can be installed in the Type 2 extended
range transponder modules. The connectors on the SFP optics are:
MT-RJ connector

LC connector
The MT-RJ connector is typically used for lower rate connections (ESCON and
OC-3). The LC connector is typically used for higher rate connections (Gigabit
Ethernet and Fibre Channel). Each type of SFP requires a different method of
removal.
Use the show hardware command to see what SFP optic you have currently
installed in your module.
