Description of the heating methods

There are 4 heating profiles:
• standard
• fast speed
• soft
• step drying
Standard drying
Standard drying is the most commonly used drying process.
This type of heating is suitable for most substances.
Soft drying
Soft drying is intended for substances that do not tolerate
heating by means of heating lamps. There are also
substances that form a film when heated quickly; this film
influences the evaporation process of the enclosed moisture.
For substances of this kind soft heating is also suitable.
Fast drying
Fast heating can be used for samples with a moisture content
of between 5% and 15%. The temperature is increased very
quickly and briefly exceeds the set drying temperature. Then
the temperature is regulated down to the set temperature. The
sample must contain sufficient moisture.
Step drying
Step drying can be used for substances that show specific
behavior during drying. The individual increments regarding
duration or temperature increase can be freely selected. The
samples should contain at least 15% moisture.
