If the receiving buffer of the RS-232C interface is nearly full, the printer is controlled as follows;
(1) sends XOFF once to the host PC when the buffer space reduces to the selected value.
(2) sends XOFF to the host PC whenever receiving data when the buffer space is much less than the selected
value.
Even if XOFF is sent to the host PC, some PCs such as a UNIX machine do not stop sending data immediately.
Therefore, the timing when XOFF should be sent to the host PC before the buffer full error occurs (timing of
(1)) is changeable so that the printer can work with various systems.
