Users can download data from any Elcometer gauge directly into
ElcoMaster™ 2.0 by connecting the gauge to the PC and following the
on screen prompts.
Once the data has been transferred to the computer, the user can
produce professional reports in seconds. Data can also be
transferred into programs, such as Excel , in a similar manner.

Two Minute Timer
The wetted filter paper should be left on the surface under test for 2
minutes. The Elcometer 130 has a built in, optional timer for this
purpose.
To enable the timer, press Menu/Setup/Timer. When enabled, the
left softkey is labelled "Timer". This softkey is used to start, stop and
reset the timer as required.
Calibration Offset (T)
Soluble salts should be measured using high purity water. Non-pure
water, with a maximum conductivity of 237.5μS/cm (equivalent to
2
#
2μg/cm or 119 ppm ), may be used by setting a calibration offset on
the Elcometer 130 Model T.
To set a calibration offset:
1. Fill a bottle with the non-pure water then fill a syringe with precisely
1.6ml of the solution.
2. Eject the solution from the syringe onto a full filter paper, ensuring
even distribution.
3. Press Menu/Calibration/Calibration Offset and follow the on-
screen instructions to set the offset value.
The offset value should be reset each time the bottle is refilled. The
Calibration Offset icon ( ) will be displayed on screen together with the
offset value.
Compensation function will be switched on automatically, see page 16.
