9. DISENGAGE FEEDER LOCKOUT is displayed.
This bolt drives a wedge that lifts the Feeder up off the Load Cell during
shipping.
Use a socket-driver or wrench to rotate the lockout bolt clockwise until it
is fully tight. This allows the Feeder to sit down onto the Load Cell.
Click CONTINUE.
10. REMOVE FAST AXIS RESTRAINTS is displayed
Cut the large plastic tie-wrap that secures the Fast Axis during Shipping.
Click CONTINUE on the LCD.
11. REZEROING BUILD is displayed.
The Build Platform will now move down and the Piston Motor will make a
grinding noise when the platform hits the bottom rezero stop.
IMPORTANT: Do not hit the CANCEL button until you hear the grinding
sound as this indicates that the Piston is now at the bottom of its travel
This ensures that you will have a full 8-inches available for builds.
It is also acceptable to allow the grinding sound to continue until the
progress bar reaches 100%. The grinding causes no damage to the
system.
