Connect the oscilloscope power cord and press the power button in the lower left corner of the
front panel. If the oscilloscope is working properly, it will take several minutes to start up, and
the graticule will appear on the screen. The exact appearance may look slightly different than
shown in Figure 2, depending on the setup selected before the oscilloscope was turned off.
