To remove and replace the hard disk drive
To remove and replace the hard disk drive
Use this procedure to remove and replace the hard disk drive. When necessary, refer to other removal
procedures. The graphics in this chapter are representative of the oscilloscope at the time of this printing.
Your unit may look different.
Disconnect the power cable and remove the rear cover.

2 Open up the acquisition chamber by removing the sheet metal that separates the motherboard section
from the acquisition board section (refer to the Acquisition Assembly Removal section for instructions
on how to do this).
3 The hard drive is attached to the under side of this piece of sheet metal.
4 Disconnect the SATA cables from the hard disk drive, remove the screws attaching it to the sheet metal,
and remove it from the oscilloscope.
