4.22 LCD unit/FL inverter
Removing the LCD unit/FL inverter
The following describes the procedure for removing the LCD unit and FL inverter (See
Figure 4-36, 4-37, 4-38, 4-39 and 4-40).
1. Pull up to remove the hinge caps from the both sides.
2. Peel off two mask tapes and remove the following screws securing the display mask.
• M2.5×6B
3. Insert your finger between the edge of the display mask and the LCD, and remove the
display mask while unlatching the display mask.
