Before r eviewing t he T roubleshooting C hart, t he f ollowing s teps m ay b e u seful t o i solate a ny
malfunctions:
1. Make s ure a ll f ilters a re c lean.
2. Turn t he u nit o n b y p ressing f low s etting [ 2] i f a F reeStyle, o r f low s etting [ 3] i f a F reeStyle 5 .

compressor t o s tart-­‐up a nd r un f or a pproximately t en s econds.
3. If a F reeStyle, a ctivate t he t est m ode b y p ressing f low s ettings [ 1] a nd [ 3] s imultaneously f or
ten s econds. I f a F reeStyle 5 , a ctivate t he t est m ode b y p ressing f low s ettings [ 1] a nd [ 5]
simultaneously f or t en s econds.
4. Make s ure t hat t he u nit i s l eak-­‐free b y t esting a ll t ubing c onnections a nd f ittings w ith l eak-­‐
testing s olution. P rotect t he c ircuit b oard f rom t he s olution, a nd s tart t he l eak t est a t t he
compressor, f ollowing t he a ir f low o f t he u nit t o t he o xygen o utlet. R epair a ll l eaks b y
tightening c onnections a nd f ittings.
5. After f ive m inutes, m easure t he o xygen c oncentration.
