OXYGEN C ONCENTRATION T EST A ND S PECIFICATION
To e nsure t hat F reeStyle o r F reeStyle 5 o xygen o utput i s w ithin s pecification, t he p rovider m ust
perform a n o xygen c oncentration t est. T est t he u nit u pon d elivery t o a p atient a nd a t p eriodic
intervals.
1. Connect t he P OC u sing t he s upplied A C p ower s upply t o a 1 00-­‐240 v olt, 5 0/60 H z
electrical o utlet.
Turn u nit o n b y p ressing s etting 2 o n k eypad.

Simultaneously p ress a nd h old s ettings [ 1] a nd [ 3] f or t en s econds i f u sing a

Mode).
Allow t he u nit t o w arm-­‐up f or 5 m inutes b efore r ecording o xygen c oncentration.

concentration, a 1 2" t ube i s r ecommended. T he s pecification i n t est m ode i s 8 7%
or h igher.
