Description
Same as pressing the REF soft key. Allows the user to select either an external
frequency reference or the internal reference using the 'R' parameter followed
b y a O o r a
1.
Selects an internal source as the frequency reference.
Selects an external source as the frequency reference.
Thecharacter 'I' isan action command that causesall parameters in thescratch-
pad tobecheckedfor conflicts. If noerror is found, the rounded scratchpad con-
tents are transferred to the instrument setup. An execute (I) may be sent as the
last character in the parameter string if the new parameter is to be executed
immediately.
The character 'Z' is an action command that sets the instrument setup, waveform,
and scratchpad memories to the defined default values.
In remote operation, triggered, gated, toggled, and burst modes of the generator
are initiated by an external signal at the Trig In connecter, the front panel trigger
key or the 'J' and 'H' commands via the GPIB.
Turns trigger on (must be followed by an "H" to turn trigger off). See
TRlGGERlNGlGATlNG CHART.
Turns trigger off (must be followed by an "J" to turn trigger on). See
TRIGGERINGIGATING CHART.
The characters 'XH' followed by a 0 will turn the hold circuitry off allowing the
waveform to continue.
The characters 'XH' followed by a 1 will turn the hold circuitry on causing the
waveform to stop at its instantaneous value.
The character 'G' causes the output to ramp back to the starting "Y" value. The
rate of the ramp is adjustable from 0 to 100 ms per point. If the instrument is in
Continuous mode, the output will be held after the return and can be restarted
by pressing the Hold key or sending an XHO over the GPIB bus. If the waveform
is in theTrigger, Gate, Toggle, or Burst mode, the output will wait for another trigger
(manual or external) before restarting. This is the same as the Return key.
The characters 'XC' causes the waveform counter todisplayed on the Model 75
display. Same as the COUNTER key.
The character 'Y' clears ALL breakpoints and inserts one at the start address.
Same as the CLRBPS soft key.
The characters 'XQ' followed by a value ("0" to "255") selects the conditions
underwhich the Model 75asserts theSRQIineon theGPIB bus and sets the RSV
bit in the serial poll response byte. The equivalent binary value is a "mask" for
the serial poll response byte. All RS-2326 bits will have no effect if selected.
