Up to five sampling methods (groups 0 to 4) can be set.

Sampling (Start Address)
Sampling is started from the start address and continued for the number of
words equal to (number of graph lines) x (number of words specified for data
format). For example, for 5 lines and the DEC 2W data format, 5 (lines) x 2
(words) = 10 words, sampled starting from the start address.

Data Format
Specify the data type for sampling data.

Number of Lines
Specify the number of graph lines to be used for sampling. This is not the set-
ting for the number of graph lines that are to be displayed. Set the number of
graph lines to display with the line graph part.
(1) For the number of graph lines specified above, set a value that is greater
than the number of graph lines that are to be displayed.
(2) Use a line graph part to set the number of graph lines to be displayed on
the screen.

Data Log Trigger
Specify the timing at which sampling is to be performed. The internal timer is
used to sample the data from the PLC at a constant interval. Select specifying
an address to perform sampling based on the status of a bit in the PLC.
■ Storage Area
Set the number of values sampled from the PLC to record. Sampled data is
written into internal memory in the PT.
Note The setting must be larger than the setting for Display Point in the
line graph part.
