1. MAINTENANCE MODE
Maintenance mode is exclusively designed for checking, setting, and adjusting the machine
using the buttons on the control panel.
These buttons allow you to execute sensor operation check, test printing, log information and
error code display, or worker switch (WSW) setting.

How to Enter Maintenance Mode
1.1.1 Method of entering end-user accessible maintenance mode
The maintenance mode functions should only be accessed by service personnel. However,
end users are allowed to use some of these functions under the guidance of service
personnel over the phone. End users can only use the functions shaded in the table on the
"5-3". (function code:
<Operating Procedure>
(1) While the machine is in the ready state, press and hold the

(2) Press and hold the 4th box with no display. The following display appears on the LCD.
(3) Press the [*], [0], and [#] keys on the LCD in this order. The machine enters to the ready
state to accept function code entry, so press the function code you want to execute.
(4) Each time the selected maintenance mode function is completed, the machine returns to
the ready state automatically.
