delete snmp community
Purpose
Used to remove a specific SNMP community
string from the switch.
Syntax
delete snmp community <community_string
32>
Description
The delete snmp community command is used
to remove a previously defined SNMP
community string from the switch.
<community_string 32> − An alphanumeric
Parameters
string of up to 32 characters that is used to
identify members of an SNMP community. This
string is used like a password to give remote
SNMP managers access to MIB objects in the
switch's SNMP agent.
Restrictions
Only administrator-level users can issue this
command.
Example Usage:
To delete the SNMP community string "dlink:"
local>delete snmp community dlink
Command: delete snmp community dlink
Success.
