config router_ports
Purpose Used to configure ports as router ports.
Syntax
config router_ports <vlan_name>
[add|delete] <portlist>
Description This command allows you to designate a range
of ports as being connected to multicast-
enabled routers. This will ensure that all packets
with such a router as its destination will reach
the multicast-enabled router − regardless of
protocol, etc.
<vlan_name> − The name of the VLAN on

which the router port resides.
<portlist> − A range of ports for which you want
ingress checking. The port list is specified by
listing the beginning port number and the
highest port number of the range. The beginning
and end of the port list range are separated by a
dash. For example, 3 would specify port 3. 4
specifies port 4. 3-4 specifies all of the ports
between port 3 and port 4 − in numerical order.
Restrictions Only administrator-level users can issue this
command.
