 OXIDATION PROGRAM 1 TC defines the system parameters
for Oxidation Phase operation in TC analysis mode. In TC
analysis mode, the TC content of a sample is measured by
means of a single sample injection into a single reactor.
 The TC system parameters, which are not covered in
OXIDATION PROGRAM 1 TIC + TOC above are as follows:
 PRE OXIDATION defines the time (45s by default) and oxygen

flow (10 l/h) settings for the initial oxidation stage, where
hydroxyl radicals are generated for the VOC Oxidation phase.

 BASE IN 1 specifies the quantity of base reagent (in pulses) to
be injected into the reactor for the Pre Oxidation phase above.

 VOC OXIDATION states the time (45s) and oxygen flow (0 l/h no
flow by default) settings for the VOC Oxidation stage, where the
volatile organic carbon element of the sample is oxidized.
 The objective of no oxygen flow at this reaction phase is to
prevent the loss of any volatiles before they are oxidized.

 BASE IN 2 specifies the quantity of base reagent (in pulses) to
be injected into the reactor for the VOC Oxidation phase above.
 OXIDATION PROGRAM 1 VOC defines the system parameters
for Oxidation Phase operation in VOC analysis mode. In VOC
analysis mode, two reactions (first one in TC mode and the
second one in TIC & TOC mode) are run consecutively by
means of two sample injections into a single reactor.
 The VOC system parameters, which are not covered in
OXIDATION PROGRAM 1 TIC + TOC and TC analysis modes
above is as follows:

 SAMPLE PUMP FORWARD 2 specifies the Sample Pump's
forward operation time (3s by default), where the Sample Pump
runs forward to fill the Sample (ARS) Valve line with sample
liquid, prior to the second sample injection into the reactor for the
second TIC & TOC analysis reaction in VOC systems.
 OXIDATION PROGRAM 1 TC - TIC defines the system
parameters for Oxidation Phase operation in TC - TIC analysis
mode. In TC - TIC analysis mode, the TOC (NPOC + POC)
content of the sample is measured by running two simultaneous
reactions (a TC and a TIC reaction) by means of two separate
sample injections into two different reactors.
 The system parameters, which are not covered in OXIDATION
PROGRAM 1 TIC + TOC, TC and VOC analysis modes above
are as follows:

 TC SAMPLE IN specifies the amount of sample (in pulses) to be
injected into the TC reactor at range 1 in TC - TIC systems. M-V
stands for "Motorized Variable" sample volume where sample is
injected with the Sample Pump operation.

 TIC REACTOR SPARGE identifies the TIC sparge time (45s by
default) and the oxygen flow (20 l/h) settings in the TIC reactor
of the TC - TIC systems.

 TIC INJECTION PURGE defines the Sample Pump forward
operation (3 pulses by default), which fills the TIC sample lines
between the TIC reactor and TIC Sample Valve before the TIC
sample injection into the TIC reactor in TC - TIC systems.
