REMOVING THE ROCKER ARMS AND
CAMSHAFT
1.
Loosen:
• Locknut "1"
•
Adjustment screw valve clearance "2"
•
Rocker "3"
2.
Remove:
• Camshaft "1"
NOTE:
8-mm screw "2" on the threaded end of the camshaft and then
remove the camshaft.

CAMSHAFT INSPECTION

1.
Check:
• Camshaft Lobe
Blue discoloration / pitting /
scratches R e p l a c e ‫ ו י‬the camshaft.
2.
Measure:
• Dimension of the lobes
"A" and "b"
OOS Replace ‫ וי‬the
camshaft.
