Assemble:
upper fork
Refer to "STEERING"
on page 4-43

CHECKING THE FRONT FORK

1.
Place the vehicle on a flat surface.
 
WARNING
Securely support the vehicle so there is no
risk of falling.
 
2.
Verify: inner tubes
Damage / scratches ‫ וי‬Replace.
Oil Seals
Oil Leaks ‫ וי‬Replace.
3.
Keep the vehicle in vertical position and pull
the front brake
4.
Check:
Operation of the front fork. Pump the handle
repeatedly check if the front fork gently
cushions.
Irregular Movement ‫ וי‬Repair.
Refer to "FRONT FORK"
on page 4-35
 

TIRE INSPECTION

The following procedure applies to both wheels.
1.
Check:
Tire pressure.
OOS ‫ וי‬Adjust.
 
 
 
WARNING
The
pressure
corrected when the tire temperature is equal to
room temperature.
The pressure should be in accordance with the
total weight (including cargo, rider, passenger
and accessories) and conduction velocity of
the vehicle.
Drive vehicle overload can damage tires, loss
of control or a major accident.
NEVER OVERLOAD THE VEHICLE.
 
 
Air pressure of the tires
(measured on cold tires): Front:
200 kPa (28 psi) (2.0 kgf / cm ²)
Rear:
225 kPa (33 psi) (2.25 kgf / cm ²)
 
 
 
WARNING
It's dangerous to drive with a worn tire. When
the tread reaches the wear limit, replace the tire
immediately.
 
2. Check:
Tire surface
Damage / wear Replace ‫ וי‬㻚 rim
 
1.
Depth of the tread
Sideband
2.
Wear indicator
