CHECKING THE FRONT BRAKE PADS
The procedure applies to all
brake pads.
1.
Apply the front brake.
2.
Check:
Front brake pads
Wear indicators "1" almost touching the
brake disc Replace ויplay
brake pads. See
"FRONT BRAKE" on page 4-20

CHECKING THE BRAKE HOSE

Check: Brake Hose
Cracks / damage / wear Replace וי

Verify
Caliper brake hose
Loose connections Tighten ויscrew clamp
3.
Hold the vehicle and apply the front brake
several times.
4.
Check: Brake Hose
Brake fluid leak ויReplace
Refer damaged hose

CHECKING THE REAR BRAKE BANDS
1.
Apply the front brake.
2.
Check:
Wear indicators "1" of the brake bands
Reaches the wear limit mark "2" וי
Replace the brake bands play. Refer to
"FRONT BRAKE" on page 4-26
SWITCH ADJUSTMENT REAR BRAKE
LIGHT
NOTE:
The rear brake switch is actuated by movement of the
brake pedal. When the light switch rear brake is
adjusted correctly, when the light is turned on
immediately before the braking effect.

Check:
Operation of the brake light.
Incorrect Adjust .וי

Fit:
Operation of the brake light

Hold the main body "1" switch

Rear brake and turn the adjusting nut "2"
in the sense "a" or "b" until the brake light
comes on at the right time.

Direction "a"
Brake light comes on before. Direction
"b"
Brake light comes on after.
BLEEDING THE HYDRAULIC
BRAKE SYSTEM
WARNING
Make bleed hydraulic brake system whenever:
The system is dismantled. A brake hose is
removed, disconnected or replaced.
The brake fluid level is too low. Braking is
inappropriate.
