Chapter 1 — Using the CN4

3 Center the pointer over the bar code label and move the CN4 so
the bar code fills the aiming frame.
4 When a bar code label is successfully read, the CN4 makes a high
beep and the Good Read LED lights briefly.
5 Release the Scan button.
These bar code symbologies are enabled by default on the CN4: Code
39, Code 128/GS1-128, UPC-A, UPC-E, EAN-8, EAN-13, PDF417, and
DataMatrix. If you are using bar code labels that are encoded in a
different symbology, you need to enable the symbology on the
computer. Use Intermec Settings to enable and disable symbologies.
