Scanning a PDF417 or Micro PDF417 Bar Code Label
Use this test bar code:

4 Move the beam down all rows of the bar code label. The
CK31 clicks as it reads each row.
5 The CK31 emits a high beep and the green Good Read light
turns on briefly when the CK31 successfully reads the entire
bar code label.
You may need to continue moving the beam from the bottom
of the bar code label to the top, and back to the bottom, until
you hear the high beep.
6 Release the Scan button.

Scanning With an Area Imager

If the CK31 has a standard or near-far range area imager, use the
following procedure to practice scanning a bar code. The area
imager lets you scan 2D bar code symbologies and supports
omni-directional (360°) scanning. Omni-directional scanning
