Override hierarchy

In the following table, the default printer driver settings are underlined. The override
hierarchy is as follows: a user's printer driver settings override the server's default
settings; settings made from Fiery Spooler or WebSpooler override the user's printer
driver settings. Fiery Downloader settings override Print dialog box settings.
Specifies image brightness. 85%
produces a substantially lighter
image; 115% produces a
substantially darker image.
Specifies the press simulation to
use for an individual print job
and does not affect the resident
simulation on the RIP Station.
Specifies the color mode for the
job.
Specifies the number of copies
of the job to print.
Description
You must choose the Solid
Color rendering style to use a
simulation. It is best to print
CMYK data from your
application.
Custom simulations must be
defined before users select
them. For information about
defining custom simulations,
see page 6–5.
When using the Cromalin
EuroSTD and DuPont Water-
Proof simulations, choose one
of the Print Mode settings for
Com Prf Ppr, and choose the
appropriate page size.
