3-3 Printing to the RIP Station
If the Chooser cannot find the correct PPD for the RIP Station, you are prompted to
find and select the correct PPD. If you installed the AdobePS printer driver as
described in the Setup Guide, the PPD is in the System Folder:
Extensions:Printer Descriptions folder.
7. In the Chooser window, make sure that AppleTalk is set to Active, and close the
Chooser.
The RIP Station is selected as the current printer until you choose a new printer.
You can also choose a different printer in the AdobePS print dialog box when you
print, without having to go through the Chooser.

Setting print options

With Macintosh applications, print options are set from both the Page Setup dialog
box and the Print dialog box. For details, see Appendix A, "Print Options."
Some default print options are set by the administrator in Setup. Check with the
administrator for information on the current server default settings.
Before you begin, make sure any printer description files needed by the application are
installed on your computer. See the Setup Guide for information on which files you
need and where to install them.
