You can visit the EPSON World Wide Web page to download the latest information
and software. In addition, the WWW page contains marketing and corporate

System requirements

The User Software CD contains Adobe PostScript printer driver and PPDs (PostScript
printer description files) for Windows and Mac OS. You can also install printer drivers
from the RIP Station via the Internet.

Windows computers

To print with a Windows computer you need:
• Any Windows-based computer with an 80386, 80486, or Pentium processor and at
least 4MB of RAM
• A mouse supported by Windows
• A CD-ROM drive
For installing user software, you need a Windows computer with a CD-ROM drive.
You can install printer drivers either from the User Software CD or via the internet
with the Fiery WebTools Installer.
For installing system software on the RIP Station, you can connect an external
CD-ROM drive to the RIP Station, or you can connect a Windows computer to the
parallel port of the RIP Station and use the Windows computer CD-ROM drive.

version 3.51 or 4.0
• To take advantage of PostScript 3 printing features of Windows 95 and Level 2
features of Windows 3.1x, use the Adobe PostScript Printer Driver for Windows
included with the RIP Station user software.
