Shutting down the RIP Station

If you need to shut down the RIP Station for service, fonts downloaded to the hard
disk drive are not deleted. Print jobs in the Hold and Printed queues and jobs that have
been processed but not printed are not deleted and are available for printing when you
restart the RIP Station.

1. Make sure the RIP Station is displays Idle.
When Printing or Ripping appears on the Control Panel and the activity light is
flashing green, the RIP Station is busy. When these jobs are finished, Idle appears on
the Info screen.
2. Turn off the power switch on the back panel of RIP Station.
If the system has just finished processing, wait five seconds after the system reaches Idle
before turning off the power switch.
