11.3.2 Enabling MLD snooping on the S7700

Context
To enable MLD snooping globally, do as follows on the S7700.
Procedure
Step 1 Run:
system-view
The system view is displayed.
Step 2 (Optional) Run:
assign multicast-resource-mode optimize
The multicast forwarding table is optimized.
If a multicast forwarding table needs to contain more than 4096 entries, run this command to
optimize the multicast forwarding table before enabling MLD snooping.
Step 3 Run:
mld-snooping enable
MLD snooping is enabled globally.
By default, MLD snooping is disabled on the S7700.
