l2-multicast forwarding-mode { ip | mac }
The multicast flows in the VLAN are forwarded based on IP addresses or MAC addresses.
By default, multicast flows are forwarded based on IP addresses.

2.3.5 (Optional) Configuring a Static Router Interface

Context
On a network whose topology seldom changes, if a host needs to receive certain multicast packets
for a long time, you can configure the interface on the S7700 as a static router interface.
Procedure
Step 1 Run:
system-view
The system view is displayed.
Step 2 Run:
interface interface-type interface-number
The interface view is displayed.
The interface can be an Ethernet interface, a GE interface, an XGE interface, or an Eth-Trunk
interface. It is the interface that connects the S7700 to the upstream router.
Step 3 Run:
igmp-snooping static-router-port vlan { vlan-id [ to vlan-id ] } &<1-10>
The interface is configured as a static router interface.

2.3.6 (Optional) Disabling Dynamic Learning on Interfaces

Context
To control the multicast packets received by hosts, you can disable dynamic learning on
interfaces. After the dynamic learning function is disabled on interfaces, you can only configure
the static router interface and forwarding entries manually.

Issue 01 (2011-07-15)
After dynamic learning of router interfaces is disabled in a VLAN, interfaces in the VLAN
do not listen on IGMP Query messages. In this case, you need to configure a static router
interface manually.
After dynamic learning is disabled on multicast member interfaces, you can only add
interfaces to a multicast group manually.
