Bluetooth Headset

The SIP-T56A smart media phone supports Bluetooth. Bluetooth enables low-bandwidth
wireless connections within a range of 10 meters (32 feet). The best performance is in the 1 to 2
meters (3 to 6 feet) range.
You can activate/deactivate the Bluetooth mode, and then pair and connect the Bluetooth
device with your phone. You can pair up to countless Bluetooth devices with your phone;
however, only one Bluetooth device can be connected at a time. You can also share files with
friends via Bluetooth.
You can pair and connect a Bluetooth headset/speakerphone/microphone or a
Bluetooth-enabled mobile phone to your IP phone. And the Bluetooth operating instructions on
different Bluetooth devices are the same. The following take Bluetooth headset as example. For
more information on Bluetooth-enabled mobile phone, refer to
Phone
on page 137.
Activating/Deactivating the Bluetooth Mode
To activate the Bluetooth mode via phone user interface:
Swipe down from the top of the screen or swipe left/right to go to the second idle screen.
