Customizing Your Phone

You can customize your SIP-T56A smart media phone by personally configuring certain settings,
for example, wallpaper, time & date and ring tones. You can add contacts to the phone's local
directory manually or from call history. You can also personalize different ring tones for different
callers.
This chapter provides basic operating instructions for customizing your phone. Topics include:

If you require additional information or assistance with your new phone, contact your system
administrator.
General Settings

Wallpaper

You can customize the wallpaper of the SIP-T56A smart media phone and color-screen
expansion module EXP50 (if connected). You can also change the wallpaper image via phone
user interface or web user interface. The custom wallpaper can be a built-in image, a picture
stored in internal SD card/USB flash drive (if connected) or a picture uploaded via web user
interface. For more information on how to connect the USB flash drive, refer to
Installation
on page 29.
You can select a wallpaper from different categories:
Wallpapers: Set a recently used picture as the wallpaper, or tap "Pick image" to display the
available pictures from the Recent/Images/Downloads/Gallery list and then select a
desired picture as the wallpaper.
Gallery: Launch Gallery application, tap a Gallery albums and then select a desired picture
as the wallpaper.
The SIP-T56A smart media phone and EXP50 support the wallpaper images in
*.jpg/*.png/*.bmp/*.jpeg format.
