Handling the Unit While Packaged

S If possible transport the packaged unit using a fork lift or pallet jack; otherwise use a crane
with slings and spreader bars.
S If using a fork lift or pallet jack, make sure the forks (if adjustable) are spread to the widest
allowable distance to still fit under the pallet. Also, make sure the fork length is suitable for
the unit length.
S When moving the packaged unit with a fork lift or pallet jack, lift the unit from either end of
the pallet.
