The following product packages with different performance features are available for SIMATIC
PDM.

* The SIMATIC Logon Service option requires a license for the following applications:
● SIMATIC PDM stand alone
● SIMATIC PDM integrated in STEP 7
Within SIMATIC PCS 7, no separate license is necessary.
Note
Displaying devices subject to licensing
SIMATIC PDM will only display devices if a TAG license is installed for each device subject
to licensing.
● Licenses are only required for devices that are subject to licensing.
● No licenses are required for remote I/O modules and channels.
