(For analyzers with serial numbers prefixed MY/SG/US5144 and
below.)
In February 2012, the N5264A analyzer underwent significant hardware
changes. These changes included a redesigned Signal Processing ADC
Module (SPAM) board, left side inner bracket, and right side inner bracket.
It is very important that this redesigned hardware be used only with
analyzer serial numbers prefixed MY/SG/US5204 and above. If you have an
analyzer whose serial number is prefixed MY/SG/US5144 and below, you
must use the previous version of hardware rather than the redesigned
hardware - refer to
Be very careful to use the appropriate hardware in your analyzer. Using the
wrong hardware can ruin analyzer components, resulting in additional
customer costs.
Tools Required
— T-10 TORX driver (set to 9 in-lb)
— T-20 TORX driver (set to 21 in-lb)
— 5/16 inch open-end torque wrench (set to 10 in-lb)
— ESD grounding wrist strap
