a. In this table, the two letters that indicate the PNA manufacturing location have been removed from each serial number
prefix.
b. N5240-60074 is for instruments with serial number 5200 and greater.
c. N5240-60076 is for instruments with serial numbers <5200.
d. N5240-60076 synth board has been qualified with PNA firmware A.10.45.xx and above with Windows 7 OS. If your
instrument is running Windows XP, and you do not want to upgrade to Windows 7, it is highly recommended that you
upgrade your firmware to 9.90.17 or above. Please be aware that Keysight cannot guarantee 100% compatibility with
Windows XP and or older versions of firmware <10.45.xx. To upgrade your firmware go to
sight.com/pna/firmware/firmware.html.
e. For the latest information on CPUs and associated drives, visit: na.support.keysight.com/pna/hdnumbers.html.
f. You can learn your System CPU version using the PNA software. On the PNA front panel, press Help > About Network
Analyzer. In the window displayed, find "System CPU Version."
