5.2 General information about EMC
EMC requirements can be found in EN 60439-1 and recommendations in EN60204-1. The
order number for the EMC Installation Guideline is 6FC5297-AD30-0AP. For installation of
components in cabinets, the following conditions must be ensured to comply with the EMC
Directive:
• Operation in TN systems with SINAMICS line filters
• Observance of information about cable shielding and equipotential bonding
• The recommended Siemens power and signal cables must be used.
• Only Siemens cables must be used for DRIVE-CliQ connections.
