4.3 Sensor Module Cabinet 10 (SMC10)
The minimum permissible impedances of the resolver to be connected are shown in the
following diagram:

Note
If no XL is specified in the data sheet for the resolver, XL is calculated as follows: 2*π*f*L.
If the frequency of the current controller is not known, f can be 5000Hz. If the impedance is
then within the permissible curve range, the appropriate resolver can be connected.
The maximum signal cable lengths are:
• For 2-pin resolver: 130 m
• For multi-pin resolver: 50 m
The module is snapped on to a DIN50022 mounting rail.
