SIGNALING SYSTEM
TROUBL
ESHOOTING
Any of
the
following
fail
to
light:
turn
signal
light, brake light or an
indicator
light.
The
horn
fails
to
sound.

Before troubleshooting, remove
the following
part(s):
1. Rider seat
2.
Air scoop
3.
Fuel
tank
cover
4.
Fuel
tank
5.
Air
filter
case
6.
Throttle bodies
1.
Check the fuses.
(Main,
ignition,
signal and parking
lighting)
Refer
to
"CHECKING
THE
FUSES"
on page
8-93.

2.
Check
the
battery.
Refer to
"CHECKING AND
CHARGING THE
BATIERY"
on
page
8-94.

3.
Check
the
main
switch.
Refer to

4. Check the entire
signaling system's
wiring.

horn
switch.

Replace the fuse(s).
Clean the battery
terminals.
Recharge

replace
the

Properly connect or
repair
the signaling
system's

left
