Sending Vista-32FBPT System Troubles to the Fire Alarm Panel

If using an alpha keypad on the Vista-32FBPT that is mounted next to the Main Fire System Operator Interface, it is
not necessary to send Vista-32FBPT troubles to the Fire Alarm Control. If not using an alpha keypad on the Vista-
32FBPT mounted next to the Main Fire System Operator Interface, troubles for AC loss, low battery, and
communication failure must be sent to the Fire Alarm Control for local annunciation at the Fire System Operator
Interface. To do this, connect a 4204CF relay to the VISTA-32FBPT and wire the relay outputs to input zones at the Fire
Alarm panel as shown below.
FIRE ALARM PANEL
At the Vista-32FBPT, program the each relay in #93 output programming mode to activate on one of these conditions.
The "Start" events for these outputs should be programmed as the following Zone Type/System Operations:
41 = AC Power Fail
42 = System low battery
43 = Communications failure
Select the same options for the "Stop" events. That will cause the outputs to revert to normal on the restoral of those
events.
At the Fire Alarm panel, program these zones as supervisory or trouble zones. Do not program these zones to report
back to the Vista-32FBPT. Instead, make sure report codes are enabled for these conditions in the Vista-32FBPT. The
communicator will send these reports itself, and will randomize the AC loss report to the central station as required.
