After the fire department has told you it is safe to reenter your home, use the following
procedure to reset your system. See page 10 under location of fire protection to see if
you have 2-wire or 4-wire smoke detectors.
For System with Two-Wire Smoke Detectors

"FIRE RESET".
Press the number
corresponding to
"FIRE RESET".
IMPORTANT
After you have reset your system, if the audible alarm starts again, check
each of your smoke detectors to determine which one activated the alarm.
(Look for a steady red light.) Fan the detector for 20 to 25 seconds to clear it
of possible trapped smoke. Then enter your passcode again and respeat the
process outlined above. If the alarm continues, follow the procedure outlined
in the Emergency System Shutoff section and call for service.
